Lauretta N. Stubbs

Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

Lauretta N. Stubbs, DNP, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, PMHNP-BC is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at Divine Mental Healthcare Services, LLC. Dr. Stubbs completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from the University of Texas in El Paso (UTEP) in 2006.  She started her career in the Emergency room as a Registered Nurse. Dr. Stubbs has also worked in various units of the hospital, surgical, medical, women/oncology, and telemetry units as a Nurse Practitioner. She went on to complete her Master of Science in Nursing from UTEP in 2010 and was board-certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Dr. Stubbs continued to work as a Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner and as a field Housecall Nurse Practitioner while pursuing her Doctoral program in nursing. She achieved her Doctor of Nursing Practice from UTEP in 2014. While taking care of patients in and out of the hospital, Dr. Stubbs came to realize that patient’s mental health heavily affects their overall wellbeing. Dr. Stubbs decided to pursue her post-graduate studies in Psychiatry/Mental Health. She completed her post-graduate studies in Psychiatry/Mental health, across the lifespan from UTEP in 2021 with Board Certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Dr. Stubbs sees and treats individuals across lifespan, including adolescents, adults, veterans, older adults experiencing severe and chronic mental illness. Dr Stubbs is a member of the American Psychiatric Nurses Association, ANCC (American Nurses Credentialing Center), APNA (American Psychiatric Nurses Association), and Neuroscience Education Institute.
